Sorry again about missing last week’s updates, but this should get us back on track.  Check back next week for more posts by the CAA Team of bloggers!

NOTE: The Christian Apologetic Alliance invites bloggers who are committed Christians and who post topics related to Christian Apologetics. Not every post in every CAA blog is of an apologetic nature. For these non-apologetic topics, we do not endorse any particular religious or political position. We recognize the right of everyone to have their own opinions, and welcome them to participate in CAA as long as their posts remain respectful and professional.

Newest Blogs to the CAA Team–6/26/2011

For the past 2 weeks, we have had two new blogs to join the Christian Apologetics Alliance team.  Both of these are introduced below:

Tekton Ticker

This is the personal blog of J.P. Holding, of the popular apologetics site www.tektonics.org.  On this blog, Mr. Holding posts his personal thoughts about all issues related to Christian theology and apologetics.  His apologetics site is a good resource for those seeking answers to apologetics-related questions, and his personal blog provides good insight into what’s currently occupying Mr. Holding’s attention.

Latest Post (6/24): Agape in Action

Thoughts from a Calvicostal

Jesse Erickson’s site is a mixture of theology and apologetics with a distinctly Calvinistic emphasis.  For those of you who are interested in understanding the Calvinist perspective, Jesse’s site has some good content that’s well-suited to your interests.

Latest Post (6/11): Revenge vs. Justice

Please welcome these new blogs to the CAA Team, and check back soon for new blogs from the Christian Apologetics Alliance!

Missed Week–6/12 to 6/18

My apologies for not putting any updates out last week.  I had some personal things come up with impacted my ability to make updates.  I am working on the Blog updates now and will be listing the newest posts going back to 6/12 to make sure there are no gaps.

Thanks for your patience, and please accept my apologies once again for missing last week.

Newest Blogs to the CAA Team–6/13/2011

This week we have one new blogger who has joined the Christian Apologetics Alliance team.

Truth and Friction

This blog identifies itself as addressing topics related to Theology, Philosophy, Apologetics, Culture, and Life.  There is an excellent description of the purpose and scope of this blog, so I’ve copied that “About the Blog” section below in order to let it speak for itself:

God’s Word contains Truths that guide us through the friction of everyday life–it guides our decisions, teaches us to relate to God and others appropriately etc. Often people base their lives on mantras such as “this too shall pass” or “time heals all wounds” or (a Christian favorite) “God is in control”. While some are perhaps true, there is so much more to life and God than our Montras.  The Word is a better place to search for the truths to aid us in the friction.

We deal with God’s Word and His creation using reason.  Reason and the ability to observe our surroundings is a gift of God, we should not neglect it.  We use our reason to discover the Truth God has revealed to us.

This blog will hopefully be a forum where you’ll find God-centered commentary on His Word, Theology, Philosophy, Apologetics, Culture and Life.

Guidelines – I don’t intend to shy away from hard topics or lively debate, but this is intended to edify not tear down, to grow and learn not to demean and accuse.  Please respect each other and the forum.

Prayer – Holy God, I place this as an offering before you that you may find glory in the exchange of thoughts, in the edification of your people, and through the sharing of our lives.  Amen.

Latest Post (6/8): The Most Important Question

Newest Blogs to the CAA Team–6/5/2011

This week, we have two new bloggers who have asked to join the Christian Apologetics Alliance team.  I’ve listed their sites below for your reference.  Please check them out and consider subscribing to them so you can keep up with their latest thoughts!

Simple Apologetics

This is the blog of Carson Weitnauer who lives I Boston and serves with Telos Ministries.  His blog is focused on “substantive, respectful conversations about issues that really matter”.  His site has some really interesting series, including:

  • The Problems with Atheism
  • Evidence for the Resurrection

Latest Post (6/3): Atheism, Humans and Robots

In Defense: Unapologetic Apologetics

This is the blog of Pastor David Palmer.  His blog is a defense of the Christian faith, with an emphasis on the Bible as a communication from God that is “completely and totally without error”.  As he describes, the aim of his blog is to know what he believes, why he believes it, and to help others do the same.

Latest Post (6/5/2011): 2 Peter 3:3-9

Please welcome these newest members of the CAA team, and check back soon for new blogs from the Christian Apologetics Alliance!
